NVIDIA integrates the power of mobile processing in car

LAS VEGAS, United States, January 12 (Xinhua)-NVIDIA, manufacturer of the computer chip that is famous for its high-performance graphics processor, is looking to make inroads with the automotive industry more by integrating Tegra 3 new mobile processors in upcoming models of vehicles.

In 2012 the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), NVIDIA and Audi announced that all models of car manufacturers Germany in 2013 will use Tegra 3 quad-core processors to power their digital systems in cars.

In addition to power the infotainment system which allows web browsing and the integration of Google Earth, they will also give the car the ability to replace the traditional dashboard instrument cluster system, or digital dashboard.
